Kaizers Orchestra

Das norwegische Sextett Kaizers Orchestra komponiert kathartische Rocksongs, die sich stark an die Melodien von Tin Pan Alley und osteuropäischer Volksmusik orientieren. Seit ihrem ersten Album im Jahr 2001 haben sie die norwegische Musikszene aufgewirbelt: Sie gewannen für die Veröffentlichung drei Preise, darunter einen norwegischen Grammy, erhielten gleichzeitig kritischen Beifall von der landesweiten Presse und kreierten dadurch das meistverkaufte Rock- Debüt, das jemals in norwegischer Sprache veröffentlicht wurde. Seitdem waren sie mit jedem Studioalbum die Nummer 1 in den norwegischen Album-Charts, hatten ausverkaufte Shows, gewannen drei weitere norwegische Grammys (für Musikvideos, Rock, Künstler des Jahres) und hatten mit zahlreichen Tourneen kommerziellen Erfolg in Europa und Festivalauftritte, wie zum Beispiel ihr dreimaliger Auftritt auf der Hauptbühne von Roskilde. Die Band erlebt gerade in Norwegen einen neuen unerwarteten Aufstieg in den Charts, nachdem eine neue Generation von Fans auf TikTok ihre Single „Hjerteknuser“ (2010) für sich entdeckt und gepostet hat. Nach einer zehnjährigen Pause ist die Band nun wieder zusammengekommen.

As part of their return to the stage, Norwegian alt-rock band Kaizers Orchestra head out on an extensive European tour in October 2026. Since the release of their landmark debut Ompa til du dør in 2001, Kaizers Orchestra has built a cult fan following across the globe. Emerging from The Resistance a quarter of a century ago, the band seamlesslyblend rock energy with theatrical cabaret and avant-garde percussion. They have built a reputation for themselves as one of the most electrifying live acts in the world, with fans screaming back their Norwegian lyrics (even if they don’t speak the language!). Kaizers Orchestra’s run of dates across the continent this October marks the culmination of their highly anticipated comeback tour. The tour celebrates the band’s 25 year legacy, with a setlist spanning the entirety of their illustrious career to date. The band invites The Kaizer Family across Europe to join them for what promises to be the most ambitious tour of their career.
