Explosions In The Sky
Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage in Sachen COVID-19 (“Coronavirus”) und den damit verbundenen Auflagen müssen wir das Konzert leider absagen. Kompensationen für gekaufte Tickets sind ab sofort hoffentlich endlich möglich – bitte dazu direkt an Eventim bzw. Reservix wenden, je nachdem wo das Ticket gekauft wurde. Sorry it took so long!

Unaufgeregter kann ein Statement zum 20-jährigen Bandjubiläum wohl kaum klingen und damit passt es perfekt zu Explosions in the Sky aus Austin, Texas. Wenn man es sehr simpel formulieren möchte: Die netten Jungs von nebenan, die ihre Instrumente mehr als nur beherrschen und die mitreißendste Instrumentalmusik spielen, die man sich so vorstellen kann.
Seit ihrem Debutalbum „How Strange, Innocence“ aus dem Jahr 2000 hat das Postrock-Quartett neun Alben veröffentlicht, eine Session für John Peel gespielt und mehrere Soundtracks für Hollywood-Produktionen abgeliefert. Mit Leichtigkeit sind sie zudem eine sehr intensive Liveband, mit einem dermaßen gewaltigen Sound, wie es der Bandname schon angedeutet hat. Damit das alles nicht leere Worthülsen bleiben, kommen Explosions in the Sky 2020 auch nach Deutschland, um ihr Jubiläum zu feiern!
